are there any plans for another premium week? for those who don't know, this is where every standard member gets a free premium membership which lasts for a week or two. this way, people can have a taste of being premium before they decide to pay. i believe this has been done before.
oh pocket penis, quit trying to get shit for free. So many people are premiums these days, that they really don't need to make a free premium week. people either buy premium or they don't. And if they buy it, it's only $25. it's not a life changing amount of money to lose if you buy premium and you don't like it.

Well, I think the responses rather than the original posts deserve the "retard" label. Ever heard of politeness? Whether you like this member or not you really show immaturity, assholyness, (is that a word, probably) and genuinely irritating small mindedness and naivity in your replies.
Totally agreed WB. Ugh. But this is really mild compared to some of the other things that have been directed toward him, so stupid.
And as for the original question, I think that was like a special thing they were doing. If I'm thinking of the right time, it was quite a while ago and they weren't just doing it for the hell of it but I could be wrong about that. I doubt it will happen again though, you're probably just going to have to come up with the cash and then if it's not worth it to you, don't renew when the time comes.

It would be nice, especially since I haven't had premium before and a lot of the new users who weren't around whenever premium week happened wouldn't have had a chance to try it either. I think there should be maybe a 24 hour trial of premium per user account or something, that way people can try it out. Or maybe even 48 hour so they get a chance to try things like anagram games. Just a thought. It wouldn't exactly lose the zone a whole lot of money, and it would allow for people to try out a premium membership. In fact, they would probably end up making money off it since more people would want to buy a membership; Just a thought.
Also to posts 2 to 4 ... is that really necessary?

And while i've seen Robby post unnecisary things, I personally feel that this was a genuine question, that didn't deserve to be trampled all over. Some people see a target, and they jump on them at every opportunity around here. I don't understand Cam's use of the word "ungrateful". But he is right, little whiners need to be told straight up. Now perhaps he could follow his own advice and stop bitching...

Bob, that's a very good point. And I may even strech so far as to agree with you. If pocket pc hadn't been on here seemingly every waking minute, begging, pleading, bitching and wining about how someone should buy him a premium membership. As previously stated, if I did see myself to being that generous toward purchasing a premium for someone, I'd do it for someone that didn't complain at all about being standard, and who would be happy that someone did something nice for them. Instead of someone who constantly wined about it.

What is the big deal about premium anyway? I don't see any real benefits of it really.

Premium membership is cool, but in answer to the original question, I think the free premium week was only a one-off a while ago.
Their really isn't anything good about a premium. If I were to buy one, I'd just use it to get the name change, so i could change my name on here.
What are the features of premium besides having a 2-minute long audio profile, creating your own phone conferences, getting a name change, and saving and downloading voicemails, and logging in invisibly? Any other features.
There's also the blog (posting to it that is), Quicknote history, the randomiser, person watch, custom log in/out messages, and custom rank. Oh, and a bunch of extra anagram games. Have I missed anything?
don't think you have, and consider this, you're helping the site when you get a premium membership. That alone should mean something to ou. If all you think about is your own gain i feel sorry for you.
